Uttar Pradesh: Two-day RSS meet begins; ‘love jihad’ on agenda

Public contributions for the construction of the Ram temple and “jihad love” were among the topics discussed at a meeting of the National Executive Committee of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) which kicked off Sunday in Prayagraj.

The two-day meeting for the eastern region of Uttar Pradesh was attended by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath with Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat and Sarkaryawah Suresh “Bhaiyaji” Joshi, sources said.

The minutes of the meeting have not been released. Sources from Sangh said that in addition to raising awareness for contributions to building the temple of Ram and “jihad love”, issues such as environmental conservation and the role of RSS in development village for the Atmanirbhar Bharat campaign were discussed.

Five sessions of the meeting were held on Sunday.
