Golf star Tiger Woods was injured in a vehicle rollover in Los Angeles County on Tuesday, authorities said.
Woods had to be pulled out of the vehicle with the “jaw of life” tools, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said in a statement.

Woods was rushed to hospital with undetermined injuries. The vehicle sustained significant damage, the sheriff’s department said.
A KABC-TV helicopter over the scene of the Woods crash showed a car on its side with the front severely damaged. The airbags appeared to be deployed. The wreckage appeared to be right next to a hillside road.

Woods, whose first name is Eldrick, was the sole occupant of the vehicle, the sheriff’s department said.
The crash happened shortly before 7:15 a.m. Tuesday, officials said.
The Sheriff’s Department spokeswoman said Woods’ representatives will treat his injuries.
