An array of stars including Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Brian Lara, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Muttiah Muralitharan, and many more legends from six cricketing nations – England, South Africa, Sri Lanka, West Indies, Bangladesh and India – will be back on the pitch to recreate the magic of the old in the annual T20 cricket tournament, held to raise awareness about road safety in the country.
The newly constructed 65,000-seat stadium in Raipur will be open to 50 percent attendance, in accordance with SOPs issued by the central government. Australian legends withdrew from the tournament last week citing the inability to travel due to strict COVID-19 Down Under restrictions.
