On Nani’s birthday, five of his best performances

Ghanta Naveen Babu, popularly known by her pseudonym Nani, is celebrating her 37th birthday today. Over the course of his 13-year career, the actor has achieved notable box office commercial successes with top-notch performances.

Nani made her acting debut with Ashta Chamma in 2008, with V emerging as her 25th film. In addition to acting, the Gang Leader star has also ventured into producing films with D for Dopidi. Its production house, Wall Poster Cinema, has funded popular films such as Awe! and HIT. The actor, often referred to as the “ Natural Star ” by his fans, currently has three films up his sleeve – Tuck Jagadish, Shyam Singha Roy and Ante Sundaraniki at various stages of production.

Jersey (2019)

Jersey tells the story of a father who decides to return to the cricket pitch to fulfill his son’s dream and prove himself. Desperate to be his child’s hero, he decides to fall back on the game. Nani’s performance as Arjun is one of his best. It makes us feel the pain and joy of the character. The film is being redesigned in Hindi with Shahid Kapoor in the lead.

Ninnu Kori (2017)

The film features the inspiring tale of Ph.D. Uma Maheswara Rao (Nani). scholar who falls in love with a girl but life tears them apart. However, instead of taking the tried and true formula where lovers are ultimately united, the film reunites them as friends. Both as a man in love and as a man who tries to drown his sorrows in alcohol, the actor has done his role justice.

Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gadha (2016)

Set in the Rayalaseema region, this film presents Nani as a die-hard fan of Nandamuri Balakrishna. As a man who doesn’t hurt others or encourage violence, the film thrived on his comedic timing. The film’s box office success further strengthened his position as the most bankable actor in the Telugu film industry.

Bhale Bhale Magadivoy (2015)

This director Maruthi is a romantic comedy that revolves around Lucky (Nani). Lucky is an unlucky guy who can’t remember things. The movie gave Nani the opportunity to show just how good he is with situational humor.

Paisa (2014)

Director Krishna Vamsi’s Paisa was a box office flop production, but once again showed just how versatile an actor Nani is. As someone obsessed with money, Nani’s performance was appreciated despite the film’s many flaws.
