Kya Kool Hai Hun actress Mandana Karimi has alleged harassment on the sets of her new movie Koka Kola. Mandana said film producer Mahendra Dhariwal broke into his vanity and yelled at him for refusing to stay an extra hour on November 13.
Talk to India time, Mandana said that her next project Koka Kola is a movie that she has been working on for over a year. She said she got the project done, even though she knew the crew was unprofessional to keep afloat. She added that the producer is an “old school man” who turns the place into “a selfish man dominated place”.
Mandana said the November 13 incident had shaken her. She said it was the last day of her shoot and she wanted to wrap up and start. She added that she had arrived early and had timed overtime a few days before.
“A little before closing, the producer asked me for an extra hour on set, which I told him I couldn’t do because I had a meeting scheduled. He said okay, and I went back to the set to finish my We Were Touring for a Song. But as soon as I left the set and went into my vanity to change, he came in forcefully and started shouting, “You can’t go. I asked you to do an extra hour and you have to listen because I’m the producer and I paid you. “
She further stated that the producer broke into her vanity while changing and did not wait outside despite telling him to. She said Koka Kola is the strangest job she has had in 9 years in India because the shoot didn’t have a director or assistant.
However, producer Mahender Dhariwal alleged the actress behaved unprofessionally on set and asked for more money for the extra days she was due to shoot.
