West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will attend the virtual meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday on the COVID-19 vaccine distribution strategy, a top ruling Trinamool Congressman said.
PM Modi is likely to hold virtual meetings on Tuesday with key ministers and other representatives of states and Union territories to review the coronavirus situation and discuss the vaccine distribution strategy.
The COVID-19 death toll in West Bengal through Sunday is 8,025 and the total number of cases is 4.56,361.
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will tour the district, but will attend the virtual meeting with the Prime Minister, ”said the head of the TMC.
Ms. Banerjee left for Bankura District on Sunday where she will participate in a series of programs over the next two days.
The programs include an administrative review meeting on Tuesday, official sources said.
