Actor Govinda opened up about the controversy surrounding her appearance on an episode of The Kapil sharma Show, in which his nephew and actor Krushna Abhishek chose not to appear.

Speaking about his refusal to share the scene with Govinda on The Kapil Sharma Show, Krushna had told Spotboye earlier: “I refused to do the episode featuring my mom Govinda because there are differences between us, and I didn’t want our problems to affect the show. For comedy to be effective, you have to work in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Laughter can only be generated in the midst of good relationships.

In a detailed statement on Sunday, Govinda said Krushna’s statement contained defamatory comments and was released with “little thought”. He said Krushna’s claim that he did not go to see his twins was false. The actor said he went to see the twins at the hospital.

He went on to say that he was the target of Krushna Abhishek and his wife Kashmera Shah, who frequently issued defamatory statements against him.

“I don’t understand why this slander is repeated and what they get out of it. My relationship with Krushna was very strong since he was a small child. My adulation for him was unprecedented and my family and people in the industry witness it. I firmly believe that washing dirty laundry in public is a sign of insecurity and allows strangers to take advantage of a family’s misunderstandings, ”Govinda added.

Govinda also said that from now on he will maintain a “graceful distance”. The actor concluded by saying that he was, according to him, the most misunderstood person.

I am deeply sad to publish this media statement, but I firmly believe that it is high time for the truth to be revealed.

I read the news on the front page of a major daily about my nephew Krushna Abhishek not performing on a popular TV show because I was invited as a guest there. He chose to withdraw because he had reservations. He later went ahead and declared his belief in our relationship to the media. This statement contained defamatory comments and was only released with some thought. It had a snowball effect as it was voyeuristic in nature.

Krushna falsely claimed that I had not gone to see her twins. With my family, I went to see her twins in the hospital and I met the doctor (Doctor Awasthi) and the nurse who was treating them. However, the nurse told me that the mother of the children – Kashmira Shah never wanted any of the family members to come to see the surrogate babies. With further insistence, we were shown the babies from afar. We returned home with a heavy heart, however, I strongly sense that Krushna is not aware of this incident. One can feel free to contact the doctor and the nurse on the same and get to know the truth. Krushna also came to us with the children and Aarti Singh, whom he forgot to mention in the statement.

Whether it’s Krushna or Kashmira – I’ve often been a scapegoat for their defamatory comments and statements against me – mostly in the media and some in the shows and performances they do. I don’t understand why this slander is repeated and what they get out of it. My relationship with Krushna was very strong since he was a small child. My adulation for him was unprecedented and my family and people in the industry witness it. I firmly believe that washing dirty laundry in public is a sign of insecurity and allows strangers to take advantage of a family’s misunderstandings.

Through this statement I would like to mention that I will now maintain a graceful distance. And since I’m so bad as mentioned in media reports – I urge those who dislike me to do the same. Every family has misunderstandings and problems – but discussing it in the media can cause irreparable damage and, I don’t like the same – indeed, I am very sad to clarify this through the media. I may be the most misunderstood person, but if it’s like that, so be it. My mother always taught me “Neki Kar Aur Dariya Mein Daal Govinda”.
