This is the 15th day that India has reported less than 50,000 cases per day. The last time new daily cases crossed the 50,000-person threshold was on November 7.

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 13,17,33,134 samples tested for COVID-19 through November 21, of which 10,75,326 samples were tested yesterday. The last one crore tests were completed in just 10 days.
