Warner Bros. India film studio announced on Sunday that the highly anticipated spy thriller from filmmaker Christopher Nolan Principle is scheduled for release in India on December 4th.

Principle was the first big-budget Hollywood feature film to hit theaters in August since the pandemic closed theaters around the world in March.

The official Warner Bros. India page shared a video of veteran actor Dimple Kapadia, who is making his Hollywood debut with the film, announcing the release date on Twitter.

“The wait is finally over. I am extremely happy to announce the release of Christopher Nolan’s Principle December 4 in all cinemas in India. It has been an honor for me to be associated with this project, ”said Kapadia.

The 63-year-old actor stars in Principle with actors like John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Kenneth Branagh, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Michael Caine, Clemence Poesy and Himesh Patel.

Nolan, along with Pattinson, Washington and Kapadia, shot some footage of the film in Mumbai for a week in September 2019. Kapadia said the film would be best appreciated on the big screen thanks to its visual scale and grandeur.

Principle is Nolan’s first film since his Oscar-nominated war drama in 2017 Dunkirk.

In October, the government gave its green signal to reopen cinemas in a new COVID-19[female[feminine normal defined by do’s and don’ts. Other major December releases in Hollywood include Greenland (December 4) David Copperfield’s personal story (December 11), The Croods: A New Age (December 23), and Wonder Woman: 1984 (December 25th).
